Dezi with Wag & Woof

With the Richmond Children’s Business Fair 2019 right around the corner, I had the opportunity to chat with a few of the 73 “Youthpreneurs” that will be in attendance March 9th.

Lifestyle Blogazine had a chance to catch with Dezi, a 6th grader with a love for Language Arts and a Passion to help our four legged friends eat more healthy treats!

How did you come up with your business name?

I ran a contest on Facebook, who ever came up with the best name got a bag of dog  treats  for free and 50 percent off any additional Orders the that month, that I ran it.

What is your favorite breed of dog and why?

If I had to pick just one, it would be a miniature short hair dachshund. I have one at home his name is Baxter. Baxter is my taste tester, and hardest critic.

What do you feel is the Best Seller of all of your products?

I offer a different flavor monthly .  However, peanut butter is the biggest hit with all the 4 legging pups.

What can we expect to see from you at the RCBF?

I will be offering my all natural dog treats and the flavor for March  is Apple/bacon.

What other products or services do you hope to provide in the future?

Phase 1,  holiday dog treats & birthday treats (dog will receive their own bowl with his/name and a giant w/w treat.  Phase 2,  sell my Wag & Woof shirts and hats and a percentage  from every sale to animal shelters in the Northern, Va area phase 3 all natural dog  food.

As of today what are your Plans for the future?

To continue my Wag & Woof business (be successfully) I'm saving for my own jeep ( want to add the wag & woof logo .I'm also a synchronized ice skater with Team Ashburn, I plan to continue with that and just be a kid!

What an amazing young lady. Her passion for dogs is evident in her desire to provide healthy treats and products. Meet Dezi March 9th at the Richmond Children’s Business Fair the Location will be the Childrens Museum on Broad Street. I know I’ll be stopping by to grab my Yorkiepoo Hunter a few treats!
